This thread is for any intersection of COVID and Christmas gatherings.

Size: 18

Vax Status: 16 adults with at least two jabs, 2 kids 3 and under no jabs.

My incoming status: I am pretty sure I had not had COVID up till Christmas, 2 jabs.

I have just pick up some very unusual and heavy joint pain....Christmas nite for a few hours my voice was freaky as if I was getting laryngitis.

Your voice is freaky because you're a chink spy.

Okay...that's it!

Hawkeye10 starts a thread because he is worried about having Covid-19.

And you are SOOO desperate for attention that you make fun of him?

What a truly sad and sick troll you must be.

(who also is clueless about Ukraine, btw)

Welcome to my Ignore list.

Bye troll.

Laryngitis can happen to anyone at any time.

Do you still have a sense of taste and smell?

If you have had both jabs?
I wouldn't worry about it.

Omicron does not mess with taste and smell so far as I know. It has an average three days incubation, the shortest of all of the flavors, so I will likely be sure tomorrow. We were in a decent sized house, the guy is a successful lawyer after all, but the windows were all closed.

I probably have it. Omicron blew up in Seattle early just as the bug did directly out of the lab.

The taste and smell thing is BIG with me, that would be tragic!

I am about to take a fist full of VIT-D.

I dont have any Ivermectin.

SADLY

Yeah...I just checked.
Taste and smell are not on the Omicron list of symptoms.

Look?
Instead of worrying about probably nothing?

Why not just go and get tested tomorrow and know for certain.

Here is your local test areas (though the website says you should make an appointment first):

https://kingcounty.gov/depts/health/covid-19/testing.aspx

If you are reasonably healthy - you probably would be fine.

But with both jabs?
You are almost certainly worried for nothing.

BTW - if you bump into my sister...say 'hello' for me.

Look Pal.....I am not worried....I am interested.....I love to learn and I love to talk to interesting people who have interesting things to say.,,,plus I am a little bit bored at the moment.

I am sorry for whatever I did if anything to promote your lack of understanding.

Okaaay.

Well what are you asking us for?
We are not doctors.

But the advice is the same.
You should still get tested if you think you have it.
For a TON of reasons.

Later.

Okaaay.
You sounded worried to me.
I was just trying to help.
Forget it.

You might want to turn your sigs on....I have a pretty good one at the moment.

Thanks for trying to help and I hope that you stick around, you are good.

You're welcome.

I have my signature setting 'on'.

But I cannot see anyone's sig's.

Any suggestions?

Well that explains a lot, this is my current sig:

Be Merry and Be Brave! "There is only one direction....FORWARDS (Don Draper)"

I change it regularly.

And No.

Several strange things happened with my body over two days after CHristmas, I mean it was freaky, but I never got sick. No one from the dinner claims to have COVID. My wife never felt anything, and she had boosted two days before Christmas which was likely not smart, as it looks like immunity drops for a short time after the first two jabs, and maybe they do for the booster too.

Now What?

America is going to be a raging sea of OMICRON for the next 4-6 weeks, do I still want to get it? It seems like the medical people are just giving up, even though OMICRON is clearly mellow the hospitals still might break down.

I dont know, but I do know that I was blessed with both a great Thanksgiving and a great Christmas.
