Murder and other violent crime dropped across the U.S. last year, FBI data shows

Murder dropped 11.6% from 2022 to 2023, the largest single-year decline in the last 20 years. Property crime was also down overall, while motor vehicle theft and shoplifting rose.

"Crime, including serious violent incidents like murder and rape, dropped nationally from 2022 to 2023, according to new data released by the FBI on Monday.

Violent crime was down about 3% from 2022 to 2023, and property crime took a similar drop of 2.4%, the FBI reported in its annual "Summary of Crime in the Nation." The most serious crimes went down significantly: murder and non-negligent manslaughter were down an estimated 11.6% — the largest single year decline in two decades — while rape decreased by an estimated 9.4%."

Yep. They have literally created a fictional world and they now live their lives as if that world existed. It is a bizarre phenomenon. I think if they visited Minneapolis they would expect it to look like Rafha. They visit Portland and expect to see homeless people on every corner shitting on the ground. They think Ukraine is in ruins and coudn't be rebuilt in a hundred years as Trump told them. And of course, there are immigrants eating pets, and Venezuelan gangs are in control of every apartment complex in America. Why they would buy into this dystopian and entirely fictional world view is one of the great mysteries of my lifetime. Last tine they claimed the data was incomplete (it wasn't). What will they be told to believe this time?
 
And the stock market is way up, unemployment is low, and over 15 millions jobs have been added since Biden took office.

Somehow, the right continues to try to portray these circumstances as the worst we've ever seen.
 
Crime is soaring and everybody knows it. Of course the govt lies about this; they lie about everything. Joe the Pedophile Vegetable and Kammy the Ho have flooded america with millions of career criminal illegal aliens.

Honesty is not your strong suit. The government tracks crime. Those are the stats the in-power politicians use. I am sure Fox has some stats you can use.

Bullshit Mr. Ecomomist. When crime goes unreported it does not get counted.
