A 59-year-old Kansas man was killed when the motorcycle he was driving Friday night collided with a black cow on a blacktopped road.

I lived less than a mile from where a couple died when their Saab hit a Buffalo on a two lane highway.
 
It was also a true story- some farmer up there used to raise a cross between bison and some breed of domestic cow.
