Curtis Sliwa defends Mamdani

We fight, We win, Am Yisrael Chai
Former New York City mayoral candidate Curtis Sliwa (R) defended Mayor Zohran Mamdani (D) ahead of his swearing-in, but described the recent meeting between him and President Trump as them being “actors” in a “love-fest.”

Sliwa spoke for an interview with The Wall Street Journal on Monday. When asked if he would have other New Yorkers give Mamdani a chance, he said, “Absolutely.”

“He won a majority,” he told the Journal. “He has a mandate. The Masters of the Universe, the billionaires, did everything they could to make sure he wasn’t the mayor. It didn’t work. He’s a great organizer.”

He said he agreed with Mamdani about addressing the cost of living in New York City and said it was “ridiculous” to call the mayor a communist. Mamdani identifies as a democratic socialist, and Sliwa said the city has a “long history” of socialism, referring to former Mayor David Dinkins (D).

“If Zohran has a problem, it’s the Zohran-worship,” Sliwa said. “There are a lot of Zohranistas who have fallen into idolatry over Zohran. He has such a passionate following. It’s like they don’t see that he’s fallible. It’s like Trump with his followers, his zealots.”

So? Democrats could learn something from Sliwa. Whether we like it or not the commie muzzy is in control of NY. Democrats are still blocking everything the duly elected president of the United States wants to do.
