Popular conservative radio host Dan Bongino will be absent from the airwaves this week as he continues his "ugly" fight with distributor Cumulus Media over the company's vaccine mandate.

Industry insiders told trade magazine Radio Ink that Bongino's show will be dropped from distribution entirely this week. His live shows stopped airing last week, and reruns were circulated in their place.

The magazine said its sources said that Bongino "chose" not to do the radio show while he and Cumulus battle. Bongino told the company two weeks ago that he would quit unless Cumulus rescinded its vaccination mandate.

"Vaccine mandates are setting the country on fire," Bongino said on his Monday podcast, which is separate from his live show. "My battle with Cumulus continues. We will not be on the air again today. It goes on. It's been getting really ugly."

While vaccinated himself, Bongino vehemently opposes mandates, which he says violate bodily autonomy and are a way for the government to exert more control over individuals.

"This is not about the vaccine," he said Monday. "Candidly, ladies and gentlemen, it's not even about science. This is about control. It has always been about control. They must break us. The way to break people is to keep people scared all the time."

Dan Bongino is willing to give up a multi million dollar a year gig to stand by his principles. He is a patriot and deserves major praise. :flagsal:
