Deal to drop all charges against trump

So this is a question for all our leftist JPP friends on the day after national friendship day. Before I move on I must say I was more than a little hurt that none of my leftist friends here on JPP wished me happy friendship day after I extended those wishes to them.

On to the point of the thread. If Trump worked out a deal with prosecutors that all the charges against him would be dropped in exchange from an agreement on his part to never again attempt to run for public office. Would you leftists go for a deal like that? This thread is open to all people interested in being heard in this matter.

I would not like that. He needs to admit his guilt and have at least some punishment, these are not small crimes.
