One day after Eliot announced that his marriage to Silda Spitzer was officially over, the former New york governor was spotted entering the home of the family of his new girlfriend, current Bill de Blasio spokeswoman Lis Smith.
Spitzers' announcement on Christmas Eve came after the Post and New York Daily News revealed that Spitzer was spending nights at Smiths' apartment. Smith once worked for Spitzer as a spokeswoman during his failed campaign.
Spitzer and his wife were married for more than two decades and have three children together.
Silda Spitzer stayed by her husbands' side when he resigned from the governorship of New York after it was revealed he was a client in a prostitution ring.
