Newly elected City Council Speaker Melissa Mark-Viverito joined the Rev. Al Sharpton Saturday morning for his weekly gathering at National Action Network headquarters in Harlem. Mark-Viverito visited the Rev. Al Sharpton’s headquarters to thank him for his support.
'It it what it is,' she says of her recently released tax forms.
Mark-Viverito failed to report $92,600 in rental income from her East Harlem townhouse on city disclosure forms.
She took a shot at the “mainstream media” for criticism of her candidacy.
“That demonstrates that they do not have the pulse of where the city wants to go,” she said
At least no traffic lanes were closed - now THAT would be a scandal
