Something is amiss. Given the DNC's traditional shunning of the Progressive/Marxist wing of the party, and of the way the DNC routinely bitch-slaps Bernie out of participation in anything, even when Bernie is the best candidate in the party, I was certain the non-progressives would rush to approve the "clean" CR and thwart Alé's gambit. But instead of acting to thwart, they are OBEYING.

Democrats are continuing to implode. They can't maintain a united front because, without any leadership, the backstabbing has already begun from all sides. Chuck Schumer, who once called all the shots from the Senate, is about to be kicked to the curb by the mob of progressives who are circling like sharks smelling blood. They all want their shot, they all want to move up a peg, and they all believe Schumer has outlived his usefulness. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is making her move. All this signals that even more Democrat voters will get fed up with the disaster on the left and change sides.

Look for the BIG CAVE from the Democrats, as 430,000 Democrat government civilians BEG Schumer and Jeffries to just end the shutdown before they lose their jobs to Trump's layoff plan. Once this happens, look for Democrats to emphatically BLAME Schumer for the disastrous result before the Republican opposition.

In the past, democrats could shut down the government and count on the little Goebbels of the party propaganda corps to sell the fiction to the public.

But the goveling and mewling little toads of the party press have lost all credibility. The Schumer Shutdown is hurting the dying party deeply.

The look on Amy Klobachar's face when Pam Bondi responded on MSNBC

"Sen. Klobachar, all of my agents, all of my lawyers, are out there working without a paycheck because your party voted to shut down the government. Look to the left and right of you, the Republicans seated on this panel voted to keep the government running, you voted to shut it down."

The thin black wall of the press that always protected the party from consequences has collapsed.
