Well we now know without any doubt who the real Vladimir Putin allies in America are. Steele's dodgy dossier, funded by the clintons, was partially sourced from a source within Russian intelligence. This story from russian intelligence, basically gossip, was used to further investigations into political opponents and a democratically-elected leader for the purposes of influencing not only the 2016 election, but as it so happens, also the 2018 election.

Steel used CNN's "ireport", a now defunct, user-generated message border, and used internet searches and unverified information to support details he had gathered about a web company mentioned in the dossier. You guys believed a tin-foil conspiracy invented by some guy who sourced user-generated material (not unlike this website), as his proof.
