Democrats bomb Nashville

Very unlikely it was Antifa. They're not the sort to have the money to buy an RV, build a large bomb from scratch, and detonate it against what appears to be a corporate target. BLM might be a bit more likely but they're still unlikely too. It was most likely some radical Leftist group with an axe to grind against AT&T about something they're doing. Just the fact they gave a warning suggests this. The radical Right or Muslim terrorists wouldn't bother. They'd want maximum body count.

A Muslim group would want credit too.

So, the real question is why that location and why the warning? What did the bomber(s) intend to accomplish?

The bomb was a pure (or very close to) blast type rather than a fragmentation device. The later are favored by the radical Right and Muslim groups as they tend to do more harm to people than a pure blast device.

Possibly. Kaczynski was poorly funded though and worked alone. That's why his bombs were small and widely spaced between events. Here, the bomber(s) had the cash to buy an RV and gather materials for a fairly large bomb, while doing it under everybody's radar. For example, ammonium nitrate is hard to get now due to McVey's bombing. Many garden centers won't sell it and those that do limit what you can buy. I know a guy in Chandler here in AZ that manufactures hydroponic fertilizers and plant foods and he's limited to how much he can buy wholesale and how much he can store on site. So, some smucks buying it would have a harder time.

It'd be interesting to know what explosive they did use. Ammonium picrate would be a good choice. Ammonia is readily available as is carbolic acid (aka Phenol). The difficult item would be nitric acid. Sulphuric acid is readily available as it is used in car batteries for example. I'm curious what they chose, because that would say a lot about how sophisticated they are in what they were doing.
