(Yes, that is the interpretation around the world, and in fact the US interpretation ... when it comes to foreign countries, ... but NOT here). Most likely t was and would have been a slam dunk without the massive intervention by Russia and who knows what other state actors.
Well, one. I guess we'll find out after the Investigation concludes.
Two. Do you find the manipulation of the social media as eye-opening? When Republicans and Democrats target States and Precincts for their own propaganda message, there's nothing wrong with that. And I suspect that if Israel would do something similar, an alarm wouldn't be sounded. Maybe even if Saudi Arabia did the same meddling, it would be ignored. But ... Russia?
So ... it will be interesting as to how 'social media' will be regulated. And ... who will be doing the 'regulation'.

It looks like a whole lot more than just meddling. The question is, just how many millions did the Russians invest in trump.
So far, It seems to be a 'social media' campaign. Many propaganda, fake news, conspiracy theories, and general psychological warfare going on. How do you regulate THAT?
If you think about it, it's probably less costly and less bloody than staging a military coup to topple a government.
