Democrats had a great night at the polls

Political pundits agree Democrats had a great night at the polls on Tuesday, but the real experts – not the TV pundits or social media influencers, but actual experts who study the numbers and the history down to the smallest details, are saying Democrats had a great night

Here’s why

The Supreme Court overturning Roe v. Wade is nothing to celebrate. Women will die as a result. Many unwanted children will be born as a result. Families will grow poorer as a result. Women’s careers will suffer as a result. And many women have lost and will continue to lose the right to bodily autonomy.

But the Supreme Court turning a woman’s right to choose into a political issue has fired up women, and Democratic voters, and those who are deciding they can no longer vote for Republicans after the GOP’s 50-year push to take away the constitutional right to abortion succeeded.

As in any election, it’s always about enthusiasm.

Many are pointing to New York’s 19th congressional district (NY-19), the former district of Democrat Antonio Delgado, who resigned to become Lt. Governor. Many pundits thought Republicans would win that special election Tuesday night, but Democrat Pat Ryan won with a healthy 51.9% of the vote

Uh, excuse me..2020 was not about enthusiasm. Sleepy Joe had almost no enthusiasm and allegedly got the most votes ever in America.

To be frank, that doesn't happen. Ever. You say it's always about enthusiasm, and I tend to agree with that, but Joe had zero enthusiasm and I'm supposed to believe he got the most votes ever in America? No, there was some chicanery happening.

The votes for President Biden were a reflection on what a horrible job Trump did as President. Many of these votes were not for Biden as much as they were against Trump. Then trump proceeded to lose the House and Senate for republicans.
Now we have real enthusiasm, with the voters reaction to the SC abortion decision. That alone has changed the atmosphere dramatically.

Funny thing about that New York race, it was only to fill a vacant seat until January, and then the district disappears due to redistricting. In fact, both candidates in the primary are the Democrat candidates in two separate district races in November. Plus, the wingers here aren’t all wrong, it was New York, don’t know if it is as telling as many seem to make it

I do agree that abortion will be an issue for the Democrats in November, but only as a supplemental issue packaged in with Trump and an improving economy, and only if all continues on till then

You think youll have trump in prison by then? I hope so for your sake because I'm embarrassed watching you idiots step on your dicks over and over again.

Which political pundits?

I think most women who are upset about Roe were probably going to vote Democratic, anyway. On the positive side, the number of vasectomies, tubal ligations, and other birth control methods have been increasing.

The enthusiasm came from those voting against Trump. They just wanted him out of office and after his attempt to overturn the election even more turned against him.

The Democrats didn't win everything they wanted to, but they made serious gains in the turnout.

More people are voting- many for the first time!

AND THEY APPEAR TO BE VOTING MOSTLY DEMOCRAT.

THAT IS A GREAT SIGN THAT THE FALL ELECTION IS GOING TO BE VERY PRODUCTIVE FOR THE DEMOCRATS!
