Democrats offered further details of their border security plan on Thursday, unveiling a measure that would not provide a penny for his wall, ignoring Trump's warnings that they'd be wasting their time if they don't come up with wall money.

The Democratic measure, totaling almost $22 billion for the customs service, border patrol and immigration agents, would significantly increase spending for scanners at ports of entry, humanitarian aid for apprehended migrants, and new aircraft to police the U.S.-Mexico border. It would freeze the number of border patrol agents and block any wall construction in wildlife refuges along the border.

(PHOENIX) — U.S. Customs and Border Protection officials announced Thursday their biggest fentanyl bust ever, saying they captured nearly 254 pounds (114 kilograms) of the deadly synthetic opioid from a load of Mexican produce heading into Arizona.
The drug was found hidden Saturday morning inside a tractor-trailer after a scan during secondary inspection indicated something else was in the load, Nogales CBP Port Director Michael Humphries said.

This will continue to happen with or without additional boarder security. The white man has found many ways to get drugs into this county for decades.

Interesting that they would limit the number of border patrol agents. The only thing more effective at keeping illegals out than a wall is border patrol agents. :thinking:

Doesn't address the massive invasion across unprotected borders. You might as well burn that $22 billion for all the good it will do. But I am amused that the small majority of Democrats in the House believe they can dictate border policy outside of their Constitutional duties. That's some funny bullshit. :laugh:
 
Dems are putting money and emphasis on where the drugs and illegals actually enter, the 48 border entry points. That is not how Trump works.
The ElChapo trial made it clear that he shipped in quantities that could only be done by trucks boats and submarines. They used the Oceans and the Gulf to ship too. It was absolutely not about the borders where there is no wall. Trump is wrong and his folowers cannot learn.
