Seems a shame not to be able to advertise and promote such a wonderful product.

Think of the tourism.

They could charge a fee just to get into Oregon.

We have several prime hotspots in the US. We would be a world leader in the industry if we were to legalize.

Humbolt County in California is world-renowned for its marijuana and is absolutely on par with anything Amsterdam has to offer. Lesser known hotspots like Vermont, Oregon, and Alaska would guarantee America a steady stream of revenue.

Too bad it's unlikely to happen for decades.

Exactly, not only would you save the money from the prison system, but also the policing of it, the court costs, attorney fees etc.... plus you would be providing jobs that are needed to advance our infrastructure to the 21st century.

Plus, even with the tax, the MJ would likely be cheaper than it is today... so potheads would rejoice.

Add in the medicinal benefits... no friggin brainer.

Kansas has a partial ban on sex toys the toys they can sell must have a sticker on them indicating they are for marital relationships only. No strap on's or dildos that a woman can stick to a wall and play with alone. They have to be couples type toys

No instead let's have the same people that run Medicare and and Medicaid, SSDI, and the Vet Administration run health care. All those other agencies are such smashing successes. And at the same time push a regressive tax on people every chance we get. I don't care that tobacco taxes have gone up, not going to affect the cost of my cigars that much. But for poor people who can't just stop smoking cigarettes, gonna take money outta their kids needs. But what the hell.

You aren't supposed to care. Those poor people, addicted to a legal product, need to pay for her "free" health care. Does it matter that the plate will be full of more potato and less meat? No.
 
Fuck sakes, for 8 years my government wasted money on a sham of a war, NOW my government is going to waste it on a sham of a welfare state. They are going to pass laws that are "good for the children" which will make it impossible to criticize them with being told you hate children, much like Israel tells us we all hate jews every time we criticize them. It is never going to stop. flat tax, 35k tax free, everyone can afford their own heath insurance. The government of the United States cannot do this efficiently. They have proven time and again they are inept at this sort of thing but time and again, the nanny staters let them trip and fumble through one more failed program. And we are all going to be broker for it.

I'd like to thank everyone who helped make this thread awesome! Especially those of you who made some of the most retarded posts of the year! But in the end, several were baptized in truthfulness - partly - drinking beer was still blamed on redstate NASCAR fans, and not on urban workers, college students, et. al...
