I'm just watching the jubilation & gloating on the right today - which is earned, and part of the process. It's American tradition.
Dems didn't get that in '20. Immediately, they had to deal w/ court challenges w/ baseless claims, a sitting President doing everything in his power to overturn the results, pillow guys, talk of Marshall law being imposed, real discussions about a VP abandoning his constitutional duty and Congress challenging the results, fake electors and all of the rest of it.
Oh, and an attempted insurrection and riot at the Capitol, leading to one of the most guarded inaugurations in modern times.
