That party needs to do some serious soul-searching.

Everything they did last night was pure cringe. The signs, the shouting, the refusal to stand or clap for some of the guests that Trump had there (which was a no brainer).
They gave Trump and MAGA the win even if Trump had given a terrible speech, which he didn't. He gave a very good speech - very partisan, but pure red meat for the MAGA crowd and they loved it.

They had one bright spot: I can completely see why they consider Slotnik to be a rising star. She was fantastic. If they're smart, that speech can be a turning point for the party, and something to rally around and emulate.
 
To not stand and clap for the little boy stricken with cancer was a real eye opener for millions of people last night,...myself included. Its one thing to be partisan,....hell,..we all are to some extent at least. But that? That was just horrible. And they ALL,...EVERY SINGLE ONE chose to do it. WOW!!!!
