No you asshole, Noah wasn't lying, he's a comedian and your name was on the invited list so he cracked a joke about you. How the fuck does he know if you showed up? Why would he give a shit if you showed up to crack a joke about you? He cracked jokes about a number of people that were not there. Did you even read the article you posted? DeSantis was criticizing this event for using his name as advertising about the importance and attendance list of the event. He never mentions Trevor Noah or anything Noah said. His point was he turned down their invitation, yet they continued to say he was invited in a way that made it sound like DeSantis would show up.

He's also correct that nobody other than the stuffed shirts in the MSM who attended gave more than a passing shit about the whole confab of self-flagellation. I can safely say it was watched and followed by fewer people than the Grammys and those are near totally ignored outside of the industry. That has been parodied quite effectively...
