I remember Billy saying that Detroit is not a place for pussies, I see what he means now!

A suburban Detroit woman was being held in connection with the death of her adult son, whose dismembered remains were found dumped in trash bags along the sides of roads, police said. The names of the 59-year-old woman and the 32-year-old victim were not released, but St. Clair Shores police Sgt. Jay Cohoe told the Times Herald of Port Huron that they were mother and son.

Denver is in its own county, that doesn't mean that Arvada isn't in the Denver Metro area.

This would be like pretending that Southfield isn't a suburb of Detroit. That's just junk apologist nonsense, Billy. Come on, at least be credible in your denials...

(BTW one of our switches is in Sterling Heights which is slightly more north of Detroit than St. Clair Shores... That switch services Detroit and its surrounding areas along with one in Southfield and of course one in Detroit itself).

I can not read this story, it is beyond my understanding, how anyone could be crazy enough to kill a child, but then to cut them up...I get nauseated thinking about it.

The "child" was an adult. Killing your own progeny is bad, indeed, but this isn't the case of somebody killing a child.

Besides, the Detroit metro 'area' is massive. It comprises about 1/5 the entire LP, from Lansing in the west to the Canadian border in the east, the Ohio border to the south and Saginaw in the north.

Seriously?

You have no problem with an eight month old baby being extruded from a woman's vagina and having its spinal cord cut, but this is too much for you?

Maybe if y just thought of this as a very late term abortion. I maybe the son couldn't survive on his own and his mother was exercising her "right to choose"?

Does that make you feel a little better about it?

In the UK they won't normally abort after 24 weeks other than exceptional circumstances.


  • if it is necessary to save the woman's life
  • to prevent grave permanent injury to the physical or mental health of the pregnant woman
  • if there is substantial risk that if the child were born, s/he would have physical or mental abnormalities as to be seriously handicapped
