Good for them

He’s building the biggest home in the U.S., a 90,000-square-foot Florida edifice they call Versailles.

Their recent financial problems, and so much more, have been very publicly chronicled...

Siegel made news again this week when he sent a lengthy memo to his 7,000 employees telling them that if President Obama wins reelection, no one at Westgate should be celebrating.

Siegel said he would have to lay off people and let the business shrink.

He said he had swung the 2000 election in George W. Bush’s favor.

Siegel said he did so by encouraging Republican-minded employees to register to vote, making thousands of robo-calls from his company’s call centers, and making sure those at Westgate who were voting for Bush got to the polls on Election Day.

Florida timeshare mogul David Siegel sent an email to his company's 7,000 employees imploring them to vote for Mitt Romney.

He didn't quite threaten their jobs; instead, Siegel argued that if Obama raised taxes on the wealthy any time in the next four years, it would be so devastating that'd he'd be forced to start laying people off.

Obama should hit this over and over in the next debate.

Him and his c**t wife are building the biggest house in the U.S. And they're worried about having to pay 3% more in taxes.

The Siegels had to stop construction on Versailles three years ago when financing for Westgate Resorts faltered, putting the company and their personal fortune at risk.

Versailles is only 60 percent complete.

It’s also for sale: The price was just reduced from $75 million to $65 million.

So what?

So what? You jealous bitchboy? You sound like it.

Aren't they hiring people to build this house you hate so much?

Well then your answer is no, isn't it? Read this(you'll like it, it's from huff&puff post)http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/...-part-time_n_1951103.html?utm_hp_ref=business
Companies are already devising ways around obamacare, and they've been sitting on trillions of dollars for a couple years now, afraid to expand or hire. What most of them DON'T seem to be afraid of is keeping their employees informed of the possible consequences of a second obama term.

i think that's great. Why would I let my prole workers try and support my demise? If they try to harm me, I will harm them. Proles need to get the fuck in line and realize their place.

look how rabid you get. using sexist slurs because you are jealous of other peoples success. Yes, they want to hold on to THEIR money that THEY earned. it's not yours.

:dealwithit:

companies should log which workers seem sympathetic to tax hikes. Those workers should obviously be the first to go. You want the company to pay more? Ok... they'll pay it with your salary. Then lets see if you like tax hikes.

Big talk from a taker.

What happened to those reading skills you boasted about earlier?

Has your employer (if you have one) sent you a message that you could lose your job unless you vote for Romney?

Finally! That is a GREAT question! I haven't heard diddly from my employer regarding politics for at least 3 months. This is interesting because I am a non-dues paying union member(had no choice in the matter) and they haven't said anything either! Before the mid-terms, they just couldn't stop jabbering about how important it was to vote democrat. I'm wondering if they are seeing the absurdity in repeating that behavior now.

Are you OK with employers sending "vote this way or you could lose your job" messages to workers?
