Did I mention I'm black?

Because it's his strategy. White, liberal guilt.

We know exactly what he's going to Socialize.

Just as Hitler did, he's announced his plans beforehand.

Was it racist to point that out?

And being black makes what difference Tin ?

That's what I'm asking? I'm ready to vote for Obama, but if he's gonna resort to throwing up strawmen like this, I might have to just not vote. I'm not giving my vote to McCain anyway, but Obama lost points today.

Wow so well said in so little space. I am impressed.

I guess I haven't been paying attention. Would you mind pointing some out? Surely there are a few examples of official republicans engaing in this type of racial commentary?

I have seen a story about a pin that was sold at a convention. The pins were removed and the vendor was kicked out. Does that sound like it's the official position of the republicans? Oh yeah, I'm sure some of it was CYA, but I also believe there are non-racist republicans who are good people and who simply disagree with the liberal candidate.

It's wrong for Obama to paint the entire opposition as racist because a few people are racists in the opposing party.

With me the voting is more of a voting against whom I consider the worst one. Not voting or voting for Nader or somesuch will likely not keep the worst one out of the WH.

I feel it is my dudty to keep the worst one out .

Heres the facts of life guys.

Obama is black.

He has a right to talk about it.

All choices in life are imperfect. It does not matter what realm of life you make your choice in there is no Perfect choice.

I agree with what you said, but as for the link, someone's been messing around at CNN, cause it's still cached:

Desh, I have no problem with Obama talking about his experience as a black man.(I'm only using the term black because that's the word refered to) I do have a problem with him putting words in the mouths of others and painting his opposition with a broad brush. That's the kind of stuff idiots like me and you do. Obama should be above this kind of hyperbole. When the racists begin their attack, their behavior will speak for itself and there is no reason for Obama to warn about what everyone expects. It may have been an attempt to diffuse the racists, but it comes across as race baiting.

I really dont know what this is about.

Thanks for the tidbit Kathy , Ill go look for more info on what he said .
