Did you ever notice that America never had many mass murders until the age of Silicone Valley and Hollywood raised America’s children on ultra violent videos and motion pictures in the theaters?

Not being one to oppose freedom of expression, I still retain the right to blame & shame the actual culprit instead of America’s freedom loving gun owners.

I always have to ask myself the questions, How would government ever confiscate 300 million guns & who would actually give them up? The good guys, or the bad guys? Would the government also give up their guns & armed bodyguards? How would Americans guarantee their freedoms if Americans were unarmed?

While that may have had some influence, I tend more to blame the loss of our traditional gun culture, the increase in gun control laws and factors that increase violent crime, such as our drug laws.
Possible steps to improve matters.
1) Legalize marijuana.
2) Reform our drug laws and start treating drug addiction as a social problem instead of a criminal problem.
3) Put gun safety education, starting with the NRA's Eddie Eagle program in preschool, in all public schools.
4) Follow up with actual gun handling classes, using dummy weapons and ammo to start. Take the mystery away from guns.
I want kids who, if they find a gun, won't want to play with it, but will unload it and make it safe, then will tell an adult about it.

Property wars are a different animals than mass killings without any reason. I think the latter are the result of ultra violent media presentations.

You are still deep in your paranoia about the left. I am not a leftist. I am a rationalist. That usually puts me somewhere in the middle, but I swing left or right on specific issues, depending on what the rational position is.

That wasn't me that made that claim. I was pointing out that mass murders didn't start with silicon valley and movies. So yes I followed the thread.
