Republicans have achieved a majority in the presidential vote just once in the past thirty years. Now they’ve rolled over for an ignorant grifter whose main appeal - whether calculated or instinctive - is to the neanderthal right, and whose only principle is

Don’t mean to offend you, but just about everyone who didn’t skip Social Studies in school knows Lincoln was a Republican, but he was not a conservative, anything but a conservative, nor was the Republican Party at the time conservative, they weren’t called the “Radical Republicans” cause they leaned right
 
He was Whigg but that moniker became so toxic he had to change to something else.
Suffice it to say names and philosophies change over time.
 
Abe didn't graduate top of his class at Wharton - in fact he hardly even went to school - and he didn't write half a dozen books in his spare time. Oh yeah, and his pa didn't have a couple hundred mill to rub together.

I would point to Comey of the FBI coming out 8 days before the Election and stating Hillary was under Investigation as a determining factor.

There's a few problems with that Jackie boy. First, it never occurs to you people does it that the talking pig was maybe just a lousy candidate. Next you seem capable of assuming the pig lost only because others said non-complimentary things about her. Next you want to claim the Russians influenced election yet admit now that the FBI influenced it. And lastly and most despicably you actually think Americans can't think for themselves and therefore must fall prey to these attempts at inluencing elections. I would tell you why the last one is most important but why, as I doubt you could grasp the concept even if I told you.

So, ... you agree Hillary won the Popular Vote by 3 million votes, and aren't quite sure how this 'Electoral College' thingie really works.

Hey Stephen Hawking the team with the most hits doesn't always win the baseball game. I know exactly how it works and why it's in place. And I love that you don't deny the Russian collusion thing was just a hard on that you people had and still have for,getting rid of trump. Russian interference was proven in 2016 and is happening again. So was collusion. Mueller did not charge that, since he could not. However, he showed the collusion in the first part of the report. Trumps entire campaign leadership was charged with felonies and should still be in jail. Stone was working directly with Assange and Russian hackers. Manafort was supplying polling data and picking targets for the hackers. The whole group including Trump should be in prison. Trump cheated in 16 and he is doing it again.

Yes, it works that way. Americans got millions of emails and tweets repeating horrible right-wing lies about Hillary. They work on many people. It is like advertising. Repetition and lies sell. You bought it.. Store it with your Flowbee.
