what can i say - just the usual disgust with the political system

my 'procedure' (they do not call it 'surgery' any more) is scheduled for Monday - they want me there at 0600!

even though he does not have much of a chance, i think that i would support dennis k if he wins the primary - i do not vote for any party so i only vote on the various state issues on primary day

our politicians ARE bought and paid for by the people and/or organizations with the money - how else can they 'win' an election

who knows, maybe we will get a hiliary/obama team for the final election - i would vote for them


personally, i think the economy is headed for the bucket and the quagmire that is the middle east will continue to suck money out of our pockets regardless of who wins:(
 
why on earth is you're concerned about the debt, would you vote for hillery? Ms. I've got a million idea's and the country can't afford them all.

Why did you vote for W in '04. He has balooned the debt far more than any living entity in the history of the solar system. But you cheered him along, every step of the way. We're pretty well fucked now no matter who wins. I actually hope its a Republican so that there's some gridlock in Washington, but it really won't make much difference. Bot parties are in a race to outspend one another, and the only candidate talkinf about fiscal responsibility is the good Doctor. Ron Paul.

they will have to intubate me because last time i stopped breathing

seems that they did not sufficiently compensate for my sleep apnea

oh well

i think that no matter who gets elected the debt will increase - it will just be a matter of how much

with the sub-prime mess and the wars we will be lucky not to slide into a depression

if we bring back most of the troops, where will the jobs be for them

then there is the minor problem of rebuilding our military in general
 
This admin will not be remembered fondly by anyone in the end. They refused to do the oversite which could have kept this mess from happening and spent like drunken sailors.
They let it just progress because it was what was fueling their economic numbers at the time. We and the entire world will be paying for their mess for a decades.

frankly, i do not give a shit any more

hillary is most likely to be our next pres and it would be nice bo were her vp

the reps have pretty much self destructed in any district where only yellow dog reps are elected

bush's wars are bankrupting out nation - of course the decline in the dollar helps our exporters and diminishes the value of outsourcing but who knows where we will get the care givers for the baby boomers

the reps are down on illegals but they are the ones most likely to become care givers - maybe they think that they can bribe the caregivers to attend to them and to hell with everyone else

oh well

as you can tell from this i have survived so far but there is more to go

overall i still hurt but feel better

our congress critters have written ious that our children will have to pay

our infrastructure is falling apart

but bush still wants to export the american dream to people that are having second thoughts about just what it is

i think it is funny that he got egg on his face over the iranian intelligence oops

the dems will likely take control of the whitehouse and congress but with their ability to shoot themselves in the foot i doubt that it will last long'

Yes our party is not as good as the Republicans at argreeing to all speak the same lie.

Honesty is sometimes our downfall. If you have to have a downfall its an admiriable to have.

That's because the Republicans are an actual party and the Democrats are allied interest groups.
 
It means republicans will stick together even when they have to lie, cover someones lies and or ignore things like your fellow member likes to have sex with little boys.

The Dems argue and fight and disagree like real thinking human beings.

first, thank you for your kind words and thoughts - i made it through the first stage of the kidney stone ordeal (fyi - UCLA medical center / hospital is fantastic)

i underwent another sleep study and the results were not good - i will likely not only switch from a cpap unit to a bpap unit and add an oxygen feed for when i sleep

now to business

that bill regarding dissent is just too scary - i posted a reply linking our mercenary groups like blackwater and a possible praetorian guard

it makes me wonder if bushco is at work on a coup

i would hope that our military and citizens would take up arms if they tried it

hey ca, i have not been on the board much and it is good to see you

thank you for your good wishes

it is good to exchange comments/greetings with old friends

things are looking better but i have a ways to go - it looks like my right kidney has restarted (it shut down before the surgery) - however, the prognosis is much better now - the ucla medical center rocks

happy holidays (celebrate all holidays) - life is too short not to enjoy as much as you can
