Mayorkis, who testified before Congress that the border crisis was inherited from Trump and made worse by Putin's invasion of Ukraine, also announced the creation of a new 'disinformation board' which will be headed up by Nina Jankowicz, best known for her insistence that the Hunter laptop story was fake news from the Trump campaign and who shuddered at the thought of free speech in social media......

The death of freedom precedes the advance of tyrants.

Leftists work hard and long to eliminate Bill of Rights protections and lie that they are trying to protect freedom.

Duped morons accept their lies as truth and dismiss truth as lies.

Can you imagine if Trump had a "Disinformation Board" created while he was in office? The press, and every person on the left (and even me), would have frickin' prolapsed their colons straight into their pants.

This just smacks of Soviet State propaganda "ministries"... If you don't find a government entity concerned with "truth" to be repulsive then you, IMHO, are repugnant.

In the realm of "duped morons" nothing is quite as amazing as this:

In the weeks leading up to the 2020 election Biden was ahead in every poll, usually with leads outside the margins of error. On election eve and before, the "smart money" in Vegas was squarely on Biden. Yet, not only was it still possible Trump could win, that the polls were wrong, the smart money not so smart, Trump couldn't lose a fair election. "The only way Biden could win was by fraud, and everyone knows it," came the word from on high, and so was born, "The Stolen Election".

It might be funny if this were a movie.
