Dixie's Top 10 Favorite Pinheads

Remember how "serious" things were before the election of 2008? We had boys dying in an unjust war for oil, our Constitutional rights were being trampled, elections were being rigged by Cheney and Halliburton, it was the worst economy since Hoover, we had people dropping dead in the streets due to lack of medical care, and gay people were being tarred and feathered across America daily for being gay! It was such a terrible and awful world we lived in back then, we couldn't have any sort of "lighthearted" thread, some hard ass lib with a stick up their butt would ruin the fun every time, usually with another Anti-Bush Rant.

Well, the great news is, those days are apparently over now, because the serious tone has subsided, and the board is full of off-topic "fun" threads! We must have fixed all the problems, because the Left doesn't want to talk about them anymore, they just want to post cute little trivial threads about anything else. I think it's great Obama solved all their problems, I hope life is better now!

In the spirit of us returning to the good old days of cutting up and having fun, I have decided to publish my exclusive Top 10 Favorite Pinheads list! Many people erroneously think I dislike or even HATE pinheads, but it's not true, I actually LIKE some pinheads. So, without further ado... The List!

1. Bono
Say what you will, the guy puts his time and money where his mouth is. He gets involved on a personal level, in issues he thinks are important, and he earns my respect as Top Pinhead for that reason alone.

2. Steven Colbert
Funny satirist! I watch other pinheads try to be funny insulting the right, and they just sound like un-funny people trying to insult the right. Colbert doesn't make me feel like I need a shower after hearing him. He makes his 'political' point in such a subtle way, you don't feel attacked or insulted by it, you just chuckle... that's a good satirist.

3. Joe Lieberman
Old Cup-a-Joe! Here is a guy who doesn't have to be a pinhead, he could probably lead a perfectly normal life as a conservative, he isn't totally afflicted with the disorder, but he chooses to remain a pinhead. For his selflessness in being a pinhead when he doesn't have to be, he makes the list!

4. Tom Hanks
He is one of my favorite all-time actors, and I love his movies, every one of them. I think he became a pinhead through osmosis... being in Hollywood, around all the other pinheads... it's my theory... but I like Tom's work, and I also like to hear Natalie Maines sing.

5. Elton John
Like Hanks, I appreciate Elton's contribution to music, he is a legend. I also admire the fact that he is much like Bono, supporting with his time and energy, the causes he believes in.

6. Ellen DeGeneres
I just think Ellen is funny. I don't even think she has to try to be funny, she just is! I've known people like that my whole life, they just make the room laugh, they just have it. Regardless of her pinhead politics, I just like her.

7. Chevy Chase
Like Ellen, Chevy is just one of those people who make you laugh. I enjoy his characters, from SNL to the Big Screen, he always makes me laugh.

8. Mark Twain
What would a Top 10 Favorite Pinheads List be without a DEAD pinhead? Unquestionably one of our greatest literary treasures, and his social satire played a fundamental role in changing social consciousness. He really made it okay to be a pinhead.

9. Ralph Nader
Regardless of how crazy and insane the world gets, there is always Ralph Nader... we can always count on him to remind us it's not as bad as it could be.

10. Joe Biden
Believe it or not, Biden makes the list! The guy is almost as funny as Colbert! I love to hear him give an informal speech, literally anything could come out of his mouth! It's freakin' great, I love it!

Okay, so there's my list... If anyone feels I may have left someone out, or maybe you have your own list? Comments on mine?
