Harris - make America a 3rd world shithole
" ... the results were enough for Taylor to update his birth certificate last November: It now says that he is black, Native American and Caucasian.

Taylor acknowledges that he looks white. But despite being “visually Caucasian,” as he puts it, he considers himself to be multiracial.

“I’m a certified black man,” he told The Post. “I’m certified black in all 50 states. But the federal government doesn’t recognize me.”

After he was rejected from a program for minority business owners that would have given him an advantage when competing for lucrative government contracts, Taylor sued. His case, which raises complicated questions about how race is defined, is pending before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit.

The legal battle got its start in 2013. With the test results in hand, Taylor applied to get his insurance agency certified as a minority-owned business by Washington state’s Office of Minority and Women’s Business Enterprises. As the Seattle Times first reported, he was initially rejected on the grounds that he wasn’t visibly identifiable as a minority. ... "

I think he means "certifiable"...;)

"His case, which raises complicated questions about how race is defined, is pending before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit."

What percentage do you have to be to qualify for "a race". With the growing number of bi and tri racial Americans, ... and because of Socialist Identity Politics, ... this is actually an important legal issue.

Those that defended Rachel Dolezal said that self identify is the only factor that matters even if the claim is not based on ancestry.

Is that the precedent the 9th circuit will try to establish?

That is an important point.

And the Left claims Elizabeth "Pocohantas" Warren is a minority. She is as oppressed as any Black American :palm:

And democrats wonder how I can be a progressive and say they just need to leave the confederate shit alone. This is why.

They are more focused on dividing America by gender, for the moment.

That is why this case is problematic for the DNC and the left. Depending on how the final ruling shakes out, it likely undermines either race programs or gender programs oriented toward the 158 or so other genders they have invented. If people cannot choose their race for this purpose, then they naturally cannot choose their gender which then makes the whole trans thing more unsettled.

I agree. This case has huge implications.

And the gov't denied him his minority status based on his "looks". Wow ... a Harrison Bergeron world. :palm:

On the flipside, if the government tries to define what is black, it is going to open up a whole other can of worms. I have been expecting a case like this for awhile. I was more expecting it to come from a man who identifies as a woman though.

PRICELESS! This will go well with the other lunatic who doesn't want to be identified on his passport as having a gender.

Even Tdak can't define Black :palm:

The left claims that? Locate the quote where I have claimed that. Or even the majority of liberals.

I'll wait.

158 genders? Go ahead and list them, please.

I'll wait.

This is an awesome case. Hopefully it will legally end Affirmative Action Forever and we can finally move forward into a post-racial society.

Got plenty of my own reasons for having a go at Democrats, but I never heard one say anything like someone "needs to leave the confederate shit alone", and if you are attempting to assert the Democratic Party is progressive you're thrashing about incoherently. And that's aside from your stupifying reasoning as to why anyone might ever wonder why you could or could not be a progressive. But that's what sodomizing termonology into labels is for after all.
