The people who are celebrating the assassination of Charlie Kirk are vile and without moral compass. But I do not believe they should be fired for doing it and we should not be advocating it.

If someone condones, celebrates, or even advocates for assassination of their political opposition, they need to be punished by society for it. A working society cannot function using repression and murder of those they disagree with.
 
If you believe that it's OK to assassinate someone for the opinions they express, don't be surprised or complain when you lose your job because of yours...

If I own a company, and my employees are cheering a murder, I will replace those people ASAP.

You are welcome to free speech. You are not free from the consequences of that speech.
