Hail Voltaire
One-percenter Barack Obama has a net worth of $11.8 million and pays an effective tax rate of 20.5%, a rate lower than that of his secretary. Do you pay a higher effective tax rate than multimillionaire Barry?
The White House confirmed that Mr. Obama’s secretary, Anita Decker Breckenridge, paid a “slightly higher” tax rate than her boss in 2011, on a salary of $95,000.
That, said a spokeswoman, Amy Brundage, “is exactly why we need to reform our tax code and ask the wealthiest to pay their fair share.”
On Monday, at the president’s urging, the Senate will take up the proposed “Buffett Rule,” a minimum tax for the wealthiest Americans. In his references to Mr. Buffett and his secretary, Mr. Obama always notes that like Mr. Buffett, he has done well, does not need tax loopholes, and could afford to pay more.
Let them eat cake!
For 2011, Romney estimates that he will pay about $3.2 million, for an effective rate of 15.4 percent.
That’s sharply lower than the rate paid by President Obama.

20.5% is still below what the President considers "fair"...so why doesn't he write the government a check for the difference?
Are you saying everyone who pays less than what the President considers "fair" (I'd like to see a citation for that, please) should write the government a check for the difference?
If you're the one bitching about it....yeah.....pay the fuck up of shut the fuck up.....
