Someone recommended this show to me as a 'binge' worthy show or a show I could watch for a long time given the amount of episodes.

I find it difficult to watch. The cheesy HD and British humor leaves me wondering how this TV show has such high ratings.

If anyone can convince why I should watch this show, I will grant you one approved wish.

The first four Doctor Who's were the best! I recommend watching Tom Baker episodes, he is the most popular of all the Doctors! Doctor Who is an acquired taste?

The old ones are an acquired taste. Start with Christopher Eckelston (not sure about that spelling). If you still don't like it you won't need to go further.
