DOD Identifies Army Casualty


The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Enduring Freedom.

Master Sgt. George A. Bannar Jr., 37, of Orange, Va., died Aug. 20, of injuries sustained when enemy forces attacked his unit with small arms fire in Wardak Province, Afghanistan. He was assigned to the 3rd Battalion, 3rd Special Forces Group, Fort Bragg, N.C.

Why are you announcing the death of one soldier?
to show the deaths go on, the war goes on, the US presence goes on.

We will in all probability have bases there after this "transition" ( to a failed state IMHO), and each death NOW is preventable if we just LEFT NOW
Or YEARS AGO

Or before Obama chose to nationbuild with his escalation/de-escalation for no sane reason, except to train up the Afgan National Army for the aTliban

whom will eventuall rule there again.

This was another needless death by Obama's obstinate clinging to a failed idea.
