Does an Unfettered Free Market Lead to a Just Society?

Does an unfettered free market lead to a just society? Why or Why not?

And more importantly How?

I can't see how it could. Unfettered would mean no controls over pollution, insider trading, bogus ingredients, food safety, toy safety, etc.

How's it working in Somalia? I think they're pretty unfettered there...

But will be interesting to see if others have a different opinion.

It's the Koch Brothers dream scenario. They want to pollute Wisconsin until the cattle finally die. What do they care they are cooling their heels in New York City where most of their charity funds go to the Opera, the Met, and the Symphony!
