Well if you think so, consider this. The main function of all life is to survive. If you disagree, you aren't really alive. Now when it comes to survival, in human terms, that requires dignity. Unfortunately, in our society, people are far too often expected to swallow their pride. That may often be an unfortunate fact, but holy hell shit in a hand basket!
