If rightwing Christians are correct, and God sends storms to punish wickedness, what's going on at these "musical" events?

MADRID - Foul weather has forced Pope Benedict XVI to skip the bulk of his speech during a prayer vigil at the Catholic Church's world youth festival.
An estimated million young pilgrims had braved searing heat Saturday to be in place for the vigil when a flash, blustery downpour drenched the crowd and forced Benedict to suspend his remarks.

Don't you mean Bush. Hurry, find St. AlGore, he'll turn it around back on Bush and global warming. The storm was clearly meant as a sign that global warming is real, and the Earth is angry at the Pope...
 
No, clearly God is angry and is punishing these people who gather outdoors for a reason.


Wasn't Hurricane Katrina God's punishment for sin in New Orleans?
