Trump campaigned on, and promised that Mexico would pay for the wall.

Why the fuck is he asking us - the taxpayers - to cough up the money? That is not what he campaigned on and that was not part of the deal.

The title of the thread assumes that Mcconnell actually wants a nuclear option and just has not pulled the trigger. Fact is he is an a long time politician who can understand the ramifications of such an act. He is not like the Trumpies who see him as the last president. Many think the country will go on and blowing everything up for such an unqualified joke like Trump is dangerous.
Now we have Mattis gone and trump, who says he knows more then the generals, can make all the decisions. Wont that work out great?
