Well, my friend got her boyfriend to erase the note before he saw it. Good thing they all work at the same place. I almost ruined his fiance's surprise bridal shower a couple of weeks ago. Her invitation DID NOT say surprise and no one told me that it was a surprise party. How the heck are you supposed to know that? Is that customary? I'm not too knowledgeable about wedding customs - obviously. What a pain - I didn't think stuff like that was supposed to be secretive, I thought these things were all planned out.

From my limited experience in that area I believe that they are planned out, but everyone is supposed to act like it is a suprise.
Kinda like the civil war in Iraq ?
