Donald Trump can't stop losing

Donald Trump is losing. He's losing nationally in the polls. He's losing in battleground states. He's losing in the streets. Every day when he wakes up and turns on the news, he is losing. He can't escape it. He is a loser.

He is losing his precious Supreme Court. Twice in one week, the court ruled against him on matters near and dear to his heart. On Monday, the court handed him an unexpected defeat as two conservative justices, including Trump's hand-picked buddy-boy Neil Gorsuch, ruled that gay and transgender Americans are covered by the Civil Rights Act's Title VII and cannot be fired or discriminated against in hiring simply because they are gay or transgender. On Thursday, Chief Justice John Roberts joined the four liberals in deciding against the Trump administration's attempt to end the DACA program, ruling that Trump's order to cancel the program had been ham-handed and "arbitrary and capricious."

He is losing to John Bolton, the former national security adviser and a man he called a "dope," whose book, "The Room Where It Happened," to be published next week, has already made headlines and sent Trump into paroxysms of anger and despair. Bolton, who refused to testify before the House impeachment committee or to provide testimony at Trump's trial in the Senate, didn't add much to the Ukraine bribery scandal, but he did admit that he had gone to Trump's lackey of an attorney general, Bill Barr, and reported on Trump's penchant for "doing favors for his favorite dictators." He quoted Secretary of State Mike Pompeo calling Trump "full of shit," echoing his first secretary of state, Rex Tillerson, who called him a "fucking moron." Zing.

He is losing to his generals. After using National Guard troops to clear the way for his disastrous Bible-toting photo op at St. John's Church and threatening to put active duty troops on the streets of Washington to suppress protests, he was forced to withdraw all National Guard troops from the capital. Then Secretary of Defense Mark Esper gave the order to send home the active duty Army units Trump had called up and stationed outside D.C. at Joint Base Andrews. Several former high-ranking military officers, including former Defense Secretary James Mattis and retired Navy Adm. Michael Mullen, wrote articles critical of Trump's proposed use of American soldiers against protesting American citizens. Even active duty generals reacted strongly, with Gen. Mark Milley, current chairman of the Joint Chiefs, writing a cleverly coded letter to the rest of the joint chiefs reminding them of their oath to the Constitution, including their obligation to defend its guarantee of free speech and assembly

He is losing to the protesters. Demonstrations in Washington caused Trump to erect a 10-foot-high fence around the White House, two miles of it by some accounts. And yet the protests against the killing of black men and boys by police go on, and the protesters keep coming. Two blocks of 16th Street near the White House have been renamed "Black Lives Matter Plaza." Thousands in Washington are still protesting police brutality, and against Trump himself. Trump disappeared into a bunker in the basement of the White House at the height of the demonstrations. He has been surrounded.

If it wasn't for his racist daddy's money, tRump would be living in a homeless shelter and on welfare. Can you imagine what a person with even AVERAGE intelligence could have done with his kind of nestegg?

This is going to make Trump more desperate, and more unpredictable, and more likely to take dangerous and destructive actions. I find Trump's madness to be very alarming.

Thanks for putting into words what are my thoughts too, as I read the OP. How many will the cornered, dying animal take with him when he finally goes down?

tRump is simply melting down at an an alarming rate. The economy that he inhereted from Obama was always his safety net. Since his Covid incompetence has all but eradicated that, he is left standing on his own merits. Essentially, he is standing in quicksand now.

It was wild, hearing him say that he told his administration to slow down Covid 19 testing so as to be able to report fewer cases.

Donnie's feelings were hurt I'm sure. The man is weak and insecure and those rallies feed his insecurity.

'Don't call it a comeback: Trump's Tulsa rally was just another sad farce'

"What is patriotism? Let us begin with what patriotism is not. It is not patriotic to dodge the draft and to mock war heroes and their families. It is not patriotic to discriminate against active-duty members of the armed forces in one's companies, or to campaign to keep disabled veterans away from one's property. It is not patriotic to compare one's search for sexual partners in New York with the military service in Vietnam that one has dodged. It is not patriotic to avoid paying taxes, especially when American working families do pay. It is not patriotic to ask those working, taxpaying American families to finance one's own presidential campaign, and then to spend their contributions in one's own companies. It is not patriotic to admire foreign dictators. It is not patriotic to cultivate a relationship with Muammar Gaddafi; or to say that Bashar al-Assad and Vladimir Putin are superior leaders. It is not patriotic to call upon Russia to intervene in an American presidential election. It is not patriotic to cite Russian propaganda at rallies." Timothy Snyder

I'm sure the Trumpanzees will insist that that was just a "joke."

I can no longer stand to watch him. That arrogant and condescending smirk on his face (as he laughs AT the idiots in attendance) is simply disgusting.
I did see where the WH (in full damage control mode as usual) is now saying that tRump was only "joking"....) It is the same tactic that they use everytime tRump says something that is either truthful, galatically stupid, or both.

Insiders say that tRump went totally ballistic when he saw his rally was being overshadowed by the Berman fiasco.

I didn't watch his retard rally last night, but I saw some parts of it, and it does seem like he's turning the crazy up.

OUCH and OUCH MORE!

The Republican party has made a huge mistake to align behind this dangerous narcissist.

This one is really gonna hurt in the long run.

Hello floridafan,

It was wild, hearing him say that he told his administration to slow down Covid 19 testing so as to be able to report fewer cases.

If you don't know about the extent of a pandemic then it can't hurt you.

-in the next election.

It was like he figuratively fell overboard from the big ship of politics, and the rally was his attempt to clamor back up the side, but he lost his grip on the political heartbeat of America and fell from the meager popularity he once clung to.

Hello Trumpet,

Poor Don, I'm sure that he's hurting this morning.

He should be well prepared for this.

He has spent his entire political career facing bad news followed by worse news and then it more of the same.

He's probably wracking his mind trying to figure out what kind of provocative diversion he can come up with to shift attention away from this latest crushing embarrassment.

The twittersphere waits anxiously.

Trump , of course, was absolutely furious last night and today. It cannot be him. Somebody screwed up his 100,000 people rally. Trump is looking carefully for a way out. The fear is he will turn to a war. You know he does not care about the people involved.
