The WSJ labeled Trump's tariff war as "The Dumbest Trade War in History". How many innocent deaths and how must damage to the US economy will Trump's war on Iran will occur before it's labeled as "The Dumbest War in History"?

So far Trump is very nonchalant about both the deaths of innocent children and American service personnel.

Nearly a week after airstrikes hit an elementary school in southern Iran, killing more than 170 people and leaving witnesses to find the severed limbs of children in the rubble, there have been increased international demands to know who was responsible and how the tragedy could happen....

...The U.S. has not claimed responsibility for the strikes, but the Trump administration’s preliminary findings show it is increasingly likely that a U.S. munition was used in the strikes, according to a U.S. official and a person familiar with the investigation. The U.S. is still looking into whether the strikes were the result of bad intelligence or poor targeting, the sources said.

President Bone Spurs has also been dismissive about both current and future deaths of Americans, including inside the United States.

After launching attacks on Iran in coordination with Israel a week ago, Trump warned that there could be American casualties. When it comes to war, he said in a video message, “that’s the way it is.”...

....Some former officials who served during Trump’s first term have claimed the president disparaged fallen service members as “suckers” and “losers” when, they said, he did not want to travel in 2018 to a cemetery for American war dead in France. Trump denied the allegation, saying, “What animal would say such a thing?”

Former Trump aides also alleged that he did not want to be seen in the presence of military amputees, saying, “it doesn’t look good for me.”

Trump didn't give a shit about the thousands of Americans in the ME before he started Operation Epstein Distraction.

Trump administration criticized as thousands of Americans are stranded in war zone

U.S. officials — and the president himself — have struggled to explain why the government wasn't better prepared for the consequences of Iranian retaliation.

In the days after the U.S. and Israel launched an air war against Iran, the State Department issued new advisories warning Americans to reconsider traveling to several countries in the region. By then, it was too late.

Thousands of Americans are now stranded in the Middle East as Iran retaliates with drone attacks on U.S. facilities, prompting Democratic lawmakers and current and former State Department officials to sharply criticize the Trump administration for failing to plan for what they say was a predictable scenario.

"You would have had far fewer people in harm's way," a senior State Department official said on the condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to speak publicly.

U.S. citizens marooned in countries like Jordan, Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates have received conflicting advice from the State Department. They were told to evacuate as soon as possible in some places even though airports were closed. The State Department also advised people to contact U.S. embassies for assistance, only for them to be met with busy signals or by harried staffers unable to offer help.

Wow. Either bad intelligence or poor targeting.

Today's NY Times has an article about a missile we sent targeting what is essentially a large rock circling an asteroid. The trip was so long it took ten months for the missle to impact the relatively small satellite (which it did)...almost seven million miles away at impact. (Actual travel distance was MUCH more than that.)

NASA launched DART in 2021, setting the spacecraft on course to collide with Dimorphos, a 525-foot-wide satellite of Didymos, which is about half a mile in diameter. Ten months later, DART smashed into Dimorphos at 14,000 miles per hour, to the awe of scientists watching from the ground.

"Poor targeting" when striking at a target in a crowded city of almost 10 million people, is inexcusable.

If we actually are an "intelligent specie"...we also are a monstrous specie. Either that or we are not actually an intelligent specie.

Probably mostly the former. Still, when lethal munitions are dropped all over a country, there's bound to be innocents caught in the middle. If Trump was smarter he'd have known this fact....but he probably just doesn't care.

Human intelligence is what makes us so deadly. We're very good at turning anything into a weapon. It's the choices we make that determine the difference.

MAGAts choose evil.
