Donald Trump likened to Vladimir Putin

President Donald Trump has been compared to Vladimir Putin and Rodrigo Duterte by Amnesty International, as they warn that his policies in the US are fueling repression around the world.

“The specters of hatred and fear now loom large in world affairs, and we have few governments standing up for human rights. Instead, leaders such as al-Sisi, Duterte, Maduro, Putin and Trump are callously undermining the rights of millions."

Mr Trump’s willingness to tout “fake news” in order to manipulate public opinion, coupled with attacks on institutions that act as checks on power, show that free speech will be a key battle-ground for human rights this year, the organization said.

Presenting their annual report for the first time in the United States, in a sign of how seriously they were taking Mr Trump’s actions, Amnesty said that Mr Trump has “wasted little time in putting his anti-rights rhetoric of discrimination and xenophobia into action”.

But Hillary!

Amazing that our nation has stooped this low...by electing this disgusting man/child as our president.

I'm happy that organizations like AI have the courage to speak out against the like of Donald Trump.

I've yet to see anyone that matters saying that about Trump. Add AI to the list.

What I like best is that he's dragging the deplorables down with him ...

May they all rest in the same sewer

Trump and Putin know how to get respect from other world leaders.

Other countries fall in line when they see the big boys drop their bombs on third world countries like Iraq and Syria. These other countries don't want to be on the receiving end the next time leaders like Trump and Putin pick another country to make an example of.

Solid Argument.
