Donald Trump has defended some of his supporters who rioted at the US Capitol on 6 January, saying they posed “zero threat” to the lawmakers who had assembled there to certify the electoral college vote that confirmed Joe Biden’s election victory.

Trump complained to Fox News’s Laura Ingraham that law enforcement was “persecuting” the Capitol rioters, while “nothing happens” to leftwing protesters. Five people, including a police officer, died in the riot.

Trump acknowledged that those who stormed the Capitol “went in and they shouldn’t have done it”. But he added: “Some of them went in and they’re, they’re hugging and kissing the police and the guards. You know, they had great relationships. A lot of the people were waved in and then they walked in and they walked out.”

The violence in left demonstrations was always started by the cops. Like Trump's upside-down bible show. The people were standing around in peace and Trump sent the cops in to fuck them up. Well we know for a fact that people who agree with ANTIFA goals coordinate with each other and gather to riot and try to burn down the Portland Courthouse. So you can pretend that ANTIFA does not exists if you want but someone gathered to shoot fireworks and lasers at the Federal Courthouse. They had no thoughts of overthrowing the government, that is a lie.....they wanted their government to listen to them. For those that simply strolled through the Capital after it had been breeched I would say the FBI will probably issue simple trespass charges and that will be that.
Those that attacked the Police, broke through windows and doors and marched through the Capital looking for our Government Leaders, will be charged with serious crimes and many will end up doing prison time.

Never a bad thing to let politicians know they aren't royalty but if every aggrieved group (whether real or perceived) in this country started entering the Capital like this I don't think the results would be positive/what we want. Just my opinion of course.

The Capital Building belongs to the people, going into the Capital Building thus should never be a crime. Ransacking offices and disrupting session should or at least could be a crime, but there needs to be eve handedness. Session has over the years been disrupted multiple times by Leftists, I dont know that they tend to be charged and convicted..
