There will always be political "groups", "clans", "societies" of some sort or another. The Tea Party, Freedom Caucus, RHINO, Blue Dogs, Yellow Dogs just to name a few. That said, the talk by some Trump supporters of a "Deep State" society just doesn't pass the chuckle test to me. I have a very hard time rationalizing a group that has the ability to overthrow a Trump presidency - with a Republican controlled Congress - that couldn't keep Trump from being elected in the first place. Just doesn't sound very plausible or realistic to me.
Don't by the "Deep State" argument.
