NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com) -- Stocks surged Monday afternoon, with the Dow touching an all-time high above 14,110 as investors shrugged off a profit warning from Citigroup and instead focused on the possibility of more Fed rate cuts.

The Dow Jones industrial average (Charts) added around 210 points with an hour left in the session, rising as high as 14,111.53 and setting a new all-time intra-day high. The previous intra-day high was 14,021.95 from July 19.

Elite educated investors buy even more after a crash.

"Topper" is usually used as a deregotory name for "Topspin". I guess people just read "Top" and stop thinking about it. I didn't think anyone would get confused :(.

I've just been posting a lot of Top-mockery lately and decided to make it official.
LOL. I used the smilie man....

I wasn't confused. Live life. If people are confused though, it may have to be done.

usc

fyi, the kennedys sold short during the plunge...

over 80% of our (my wife's and I) wealth is in real estate with sufficient liquidity to ride out a 5 year depression and drop in real estate values

we do own some stocks, but most of our stock is setup in a trust for our grandchildren in various trusts

i do wonder if bushco is setting up a depression and a war to be laid at the feet of the next administration
