I am nearly finished with my last bottle of State Liquor. On June 1st, the Initiative to break-up the idiotic state monopoly on liquor, and to privatize it (Oh, NO, Costco bought the Election!!!!!!!!!!!!) took effect, and we can buy liquor at Fred Meyers, Safeway, etc., without the effing state mark-up!

Well, actually, some of you are former residents (Grind, Beefy), and someone went and got banned. But Brent's still here (Legion Priiiiiide!!!)

Either way, drink up, and here's to fucking marijuana legalization in November. Suck on that Olympia fascists!!!!!

Apparently, when my dad was my age, WA even had state control over wine, and it took an initiative to privatize wine sales. Unbelievable, and it happened so long ago that no one seems to remember, otherwise they might not have dragged their feet the previous election cycle when the privatization initiative failed to pass.
