Trump knows he can count on his stooges to carry his water

Trump appeared to rely on a dubious Fox News report Tuesday morning to unleash an attack on his predecessor, accusing President Barack Obama, without any real evidence, of granting citizenship to 2,500 Iranians as part of nuclear deal negotiations.

"It shouldn't be lost on anyone that this is a case of Donald Trump parroting Fox News, which is peddling the claims of an Iranian hardliner," Prescott told CNN.

The article quotes the (fox)network's own commentator saying, 'This sounds like totally made up BS'

This would not be the first time Trump has tweeted false or questionable claims that have originated in right-wing media. The President has a long history of stoking conspiracy theories that target his political rivals.

The most amazing thing about this story is that it would be a major scandal with any other President - but with Trump, it will be forgotten in a day.

CNN also claimed Obama's pallet of cash wasn't a ransom, didn't they?

Denying the report doesn't make it false.

It was not ,so no denial needed. He gave Iran back their own money. that would be a strange ransom method, even in your twisted brain.

Weren't hostages released as a result, old man?

Why did Obama feel it was necessary to fly a pallet full of cash to Iran secretly?

Didn't some Iranians say it was a ransom?

Is that so? Can you link?

The Obama administration secretly arranged a plane delivery of $400 million in cash on the same day Iran released four American prisoners and formally implemented the nuclear deal, US officials confirmed.

The shipment was a secret until The Wall Street Journal broke the story. The Iranian press and military enthusiastically spun the payment as ransom, and more proof of how Tehran had rolled the U.S. in the nuclear talks.

Most of all, the tale of cash going one way and prisoners the other, all on the same day, just doesn’t look right. The suspicion is that the teams working on the financial, hostage and weapons negotiations did indeed collaborate, and that the hostage release was the essential sweetener needed to clinch the highly controversial nuclear agreement that’s a pillar of Obama’s legacy.

no no no Should have given them a credit card? Maybe a pile of McDonlalds coupons? In some parts of the world, when you pay something back, you use cash. Think Iran should have taken a check?

Nope. Nordberg is correct. That was money which was seized by the United States. It was Iran's money.

Just a coincidence that Iran released hostages the same day, and claimed the payment (which Obama kept a secret for months) was a ransom?
