#1. The Government Shut Down.
#2. Ted Cruz's fake filibuster.
#3. Not really having any clue why they shut down the government.
#4. Bobby Jindahl appointing Tony Perkins to Louisiana's Law Enforcement Commission.
#5. Rep. Don Young's derogatory comments about Hispanics.
#6. The comment by Mary Sue McClurkin in the Alabama House of Reps that "the fetus in the largest organ in the human body."
#7. Texas Rep Steve Stockmans campaign bumper sticker "If Babies had guns we wouldn't have abortion."
#8. The house voting for zero actual jobs bills but voting twice to defund ACORN (ACORN hasn't existed since 2010.).
#9. 29% of Louisiana Republicans blame President Obama for post Katrina Response (Hurricane Katrina occurred three years before Obama became President.).
#10. And finally just a general round up of stupidity, bigotry, and racism.
◾Former Rep. Joe Walsh (R-IL) celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the March on Washington by telling blacks to “stop depending on the government plantation.”
◾NJ Republican Senate Candidate Steve Lonegan telling people his opponent, Cory Booker, was, “probably gay.” Booker (who is not actually gay) won the election in a landslide.
◾Televangelist Pat Robertson saying that members of the gay community use “special rings” to target people and give them AIDS.
◾Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-TX) saying that “liberal elites” were culling the population using vaccines.
◾Maine conservative candidate David Marsters posting a picture of President Obama on his Facebook page captioned, “Shoot the N***er.”
◾Mark Sanford getting re-elected after the “Appalachian Trail” incident.
◾Rep. Dennis Johnson (R-Duncan OK) said, “[Customers] might try to Jew me down on a price. That’s fine … that’s free market as well.”
◾Darrel Issa’s numerous Benghazi “witch-hunt” hearings.

1. Believing they could keep their health insurance if they liked it.
2. Believing they could keep their doctor if they liked him/her
3. Believing a YouTube video caused Benghazi.
4. Believing health insurance premiums will decrease.
5. Believing Democrats meant all that "pay-go" nonsense.
6. Believing Obama would end the warrantless wiretaps.
.... oh, wait minute....

these weren't Republicans.

Looks like Repub dumb moments are 3 to 1 more than Dems. :)

Government shutdown was so huge, we don't need any more.

I doubt they will try that again... I guess they thought Obama would cave, they misunderestimated him.

This is from The Onion, right? I mean, nobody's really this dumb, right?

He won by five million votes more than Romney. What is your point? We have not had a republican perform as president since Ike.

if you had bothered to read the posts you would know the point was that there have been more dumb Democrat moments than dumb Republican moments....apparently five million more.....

When you can elect an ethical or at least partially ethical candidate to the presidency that is not a walking clusterfuck, we will talk.

The idea that those who watch Jon Stewart on Comedy Channel are far better informed on the news and politics going on, than those who watch Fox News Channel, shows the danger we face–that ignorance and stupidity are becoming widespread throughout the Republican Party membership, and the officeholders are exploiting it for their own benefit, laughing behind the scenes as to just how moronic their supporters are, and the willingness to believe anything their ignorant, stupid supporters are capable of!

This is a danger to American democracy itself!
