Effects of bringing politics to NFL

I would love to hear from both sides of the aisle on this one. How has the National Anthem controversy effected the business side of the NFL? Are they making more money now, or less? Are ticket sales for games increasing, or decreasing? Are there more tv viewers now? or are there less? Was it wise to bring politics to the NFL?

I stopped watching! That is all I know, it would seem it is hurting the NFL.

It has hurt some short term,long term over exposure is a issue.

NFL attendance is about identical to last year, which was the 3rd highest ever. TV viewership is down a bit, but still enormous. It may be suffering more from the concussion problem. That is what caused me and my son to quit watching.
