Elected Southern Representative: "Talk to you later Buckwheat"

But the "Buckwheat" remark is the latest bit of trouble for Dartez and her husband, Lenny, who is a member of the Democratic Party's State Central Committee.

Damn dirty racist Democrats!

Lol I was wondering why you didn't parade her party affiliation.

:o what?

Haha I saw that one coming.

You'll get no argument from me on that score. The South holds much of the lingering racist sentiment in America.

You're no fun. I was hoping Watermark would go ballistic again and start ranting the N word. That's awesome.

Unbeknownst to me, it is apparently a common racial slur.

Supposedly it means getting scared and running away. I think that's what the character in the show did. Remember Dan Rather used it to describe some politician(s)? Rather said someone got the buckwheats and he got heat for it.

Well......

You're no fun. I was hoping Watermark would go ballistic again and start ranting the N word. That's awesome.

I for one like the 'N' word....NICE...as in cool and tanned foxy babes ...just me mind ya...I am a oldies guy...albeit I did grow up in Southern California...my bad...lol

Not into fine women Watermark?

I am, but it there's one place they avoid like the plague, it would be the south.

Now, a few Mexican one's might want to piggyback on you to get American citizenship. But that's just because there weren't any Europeans in the market that day.

Cross the state line sometime kid.

Maybe it's just Mississippi.

What does "Buckwheat" mean?
It was the name of a character on the "Little Rascals" and was a black kid who spoke and acted stereotypically of what people "expected" back then.

I would avoid this term, first because I just ain't that old, second because it is just plain insulting.

At least the black community didn't embarrass itself this time, like it did when that politician got in trouble for using the word "denigrate", to which the entire country replied "Pick up a dictionary, Buckwheat" :P

Is that avatar you? Or just a bad picture of Ben Afflec?

Although if you take away the muscle mass, the cool uniform, and change the black hair to blonde, I do look something like that.
