Election 2020: The Art of the Steal
Commentary by Adrian Norman
November 12, 2020
A coup d’état is taking place in America right now.
Elected officials in this country are selected by the citizens at the ballot box, not by fiat based on the predilections of current or former officials and bureaucrats. Yet, the latter group are seemingly attempting to put their thumb on the scale and tip the results of the 2020 election.
Though American citizens on both sides of the aisle support a transparent process where representatives from both political parties are able to monitor the vote tabulations, political officials are actively impeding one party’s efforts to ensure a fair count.
On the evening of Nov. 4, in Fulton County, Georgia, Republican observers were allegedly told to go home because election officials were closing up, David Shafer, chairman of the Georgia Republican Party, wrote on Twitter. But, after they left, election officials allegedly began processing the ballots in secret without the Republican observers present. The following day, elections officials stopped the GOP from observing the vote counting by operating a forklift “between the place the ballot scanners are located and the area our observers have been instructed to stand,” he said.
Shafer also said he authorized lawyers for the Georgia GOP to file an emergency petition against the Chatham County Board of elections to prevent the “unlawful counting of absentee ballots received after the election,” subsequent to observers watching a woman illegally mix new ballots into a stack of uncounted absentee ballots. Georgia law states that mail ballots must be received by 7 p.m. on Election Day to be counted toward a final tally.
By Friday, Biden is said to have taken the lead over Trump in Georgia “with little more than 900 votes separating the candidates,” according to the Associated Press. But, as the president noted on Twitter, there were nearly 9,000 missing military ballots that had not been counted. “Where are the missing military ballots in Georgia,” he wrote. “What happened to them?”
If you were trying to steal an election, this is what it would look like.
Shortly after the election, James O’Keefe, head of Project Veritas, released a video of an interview he conducted with a whistleblower from the United States Postal Service, who stated that Michigan post offices were allegedly backdating ballots that were sent after election day.
“We were issued a directive this morning to collect any ballots we find in mailboxes, collection boxes, just outgoing mail in general, separate them at the end of the day so that they could hand stamp them with [November third’s] date,” the whistleblower said. This order is in complete violation of state law, which requires ballots to be received by the election clerk before the polls close on Election Day.
Adding to the concern over fraud in the Wolverine State, it was revealed on Nov. 6 that a “software glitch” resulted in thousands of votes cast for Republicans being counted for Democrats.
“In Antrim County, ballots were counted for Democrats that were meant for Republicans, causing a 6,000-vote swing against our candidates. The county clerk came forward and said, ‘Tabulating software glitched and caused a miscalculation of the votes,’” Laura Cox, Michigan Republican Party chairwoman, said in a Friday news conference. “We have now discovered that 47 counties used this same software in the same capacity.”
The defective software that is causing these issues is by Dominion Voting Systems, which was used in 30 states in this year’s election.
“We have not yet been able to verify whether similar errors occurred in other counties where that software is being used. And we seek to do that in this lawsuit,” Trump campaign counsel Thor Hearne told reporters during a press call on Nov. 10, referring to a lawsuit to be filed in Michigan later that day.
Attorney Sidney Powell had earlier alleged software played a role and called for an investigation.
“That is where the fraud took place, where they were flipping votes in the computer system or adding votes that did not exist. We need an audit of all the computer systems that played any role in this fraud whatsoever,” Powell said in a Nov. 8 interview with Maria Bartiromo on Fox News.
“They had this all planned, Maria. They had the algorithms, they had the paper ballots waiting to be inserted if and when needed, and notably President Trump’s vote in the blue states went up enormously,” she said. “That’s when they had to stop the vote count and go in and replace votes for Biden and take away Trump votes.”
Also, on Nov. 9, GOP Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel presented 131 affidavits and more than 2,800 incident reports that document reports of alleged election fraud and intimidation in Michigan. An affidavit is a sworn statement, made under oath, and is legally binding. If the affidavit contains false information, the person signing it is subject to perjury charges. So, all of this information is actual testimony and is considered evidence of potential election fraud and malfeasance.
If you were trying to steal an election, this is what it would look like.
In Philadelphia, officials hatched a plan to accept and count mail-in ballots that were received up to three days after the election and that don’t even have a postmark. So, there’s no way to know when the ballot was sent or (more importantly) from where. Secretary of State Kathy Boockvar said on Nov. 10 about 10,000 mail-in ballots were received between 8 p.m. polling day and 5 p.m. Nov. 6.
This matters when considering that by Friday newly processed mail-in ballots had supposedly cut Trump’s lead to less than 20,000 votes. It’s worth noting that on Nov. 5, the Public Interest Legal foundation (PILF) filed a lawsuit against the Pennsylvania Department of State for “failing to reasonably maintain voter registration records under federal and state law” after the watchdog group found at least 21,000 deceased registrants on the state’s voter rolls in the final weeks of the 2020 election cycle.
Trump, on Twitter on Nov. 6, loosely quoted attorney and former special counsel Ken Starr on the alleged corruption taking place in Pennsylvania:
“This is what we know. We have to go back to the state level and how this morass came to be in the first instance. The Governor, Wolf, and the State Supreme Court, flagrantly violated the Constitution of the U.S.,” Starr, a former federal Court of Appeals judge and solicitor general, said in an interview with Fox Business’ Varney & Co., according to Trump. “The power to set these rules and regulations is vested in the Legislature. They just ignored that, ignored the Constitution.
“Now we bring it down to the counting houses, and outrageously, observers, who are the sentinels of integrity & transparency, were excluded. Pennsylvania has conducted itself in a horrible lawless way, and hopefully this will be corrected at the Supreme Court of the United States,” he said. “Also, these late ballots past Election Day are illegal, exactly what the President has been saying. … The Supreme Court, in extraordinary circumstances, has been able to render decisions in a matter of days.”
Meanwhile, on Thursday and Friday, Project Veritas released two additional videos showing interviews with whistleblowers who stated that USPS in Pennsylvania also allegedly engaged in election fraud by illegally backdating ballots.
Finally, recall that, 1) Pennsylvania Attorney General Josh Shapiro said just days prior to the election “if all the votes are added up in PA, Trump is going to lose,” and, 2) Pennsylvania’s Secretary of State—who oversees the election—said in 2016 and 2017 that Trump demeaned the office of the presidency and that he was “dangerously unfit” for office.
If you were trying to steal an election, this is what it would look like.
On Nov. 9, U.S. Attorney General William Barr authorized federal prosecutors to investigate “substantial allegations” of election fraud. In a memo (pdf) to the most senior officials within the Department of Justice (DOJ), he states that “inquiries and reviews may be conducted if there are clear and apparently-credible allegations of irregularities that, if true, could potentially impact the outcome of a federal election in an individual state.”
Barr instructed officials to defer the investigation of claims of irregularities that, if true, would not impact the outcome of a federal election in an individual state until after the election certification process is complete. He also stated that “specious, speculative, fanciful or far-fetched claims should not be a basis for initiating federal inquiries.”
Though many publications and commentators continue to falsely state there’s no evidence of fraud or irregularities in this election, we have clear examples from across the country, including a criminal referral sent to the DOJ from the Nevada GOP documenting “at least 3,062 instances of voter fraud.” Whether or not those crimes get punished and/or those illegal votes become disqualified remains to be seen.
Conclusion
We are reaching the completion of a year in which the quality of our election integrity and security was intentionally eroded with the foreseeable outcome being chaos and discord, which would then be leveraged to steal the election from President Trump.
The CCP virus panic was exploited and used as the basis to institute widespread mail-in voting, a system that we already knew was unsecure. The polling this year was even worse than in 2016, because pollsters—along with corrupt figures within the mainstream media establishment—pushed the lie that Biden was ahead by wide margins to be able to claim that these fraudulent election results have merit.
