What makes me laugh is that the average working folk who voted for the Orange Oaf did so with or without the knowledge that he is AGAINST unions, has a history of cheating contractors and did/is doing NOTHING for the fools that raided the Capitol on Jan. 6th. Unreal!

But let's get real: the second Uncle Joe decided to run again, the Orange Oaf was pretty much guaranteed a win. His replacement by Harris only cemented such, because Harris (like Biden) is in the pocket of the high end donor class .... just like the GOP. This was why she and the DNC kept Walz in the background, because God forbid any progressive ideas get a platform. She tried to play both sides of the fence and lost to the MAGA mania.

Ahh, but even if the House falls to GOP majority, there is hope ... true Democrats and/or Progressive governors who will stand up to the "red wave" using the very bullhorn they used ... THE SOVEREIGNTY OF STATES RIGHTS.

The first salvo has been fired by Gov. Pritzker of Illinois. I hope there are others.

Wait till the promised tariffs materialize. Inflation will soar again, we'll lose market share to our competitors (ask soybean growers about *that*), jobs will be lost as employers can't afford manufacturing material, and the cost of everything in Walmart will go up. But the wealthy will get even more tax cuts so it's okay! *extra eyeroll*
 
Yes Trump and the MAGA apparently don't understand that exporting countries do NOT pay the Tariffs all they will do is increase the price of their goods the amount of the tariffs and maybe a little more and not only increase their profits but they will pass the cost on to the consumers in the USA.
Causing like you say higher costs for materials in manufacturing and massive lay off.

Democratic presidents are always better for the economy, and there is way too much macroeconomic data to deny it.

Okay, so obviously you're having a "senior moment". I suggest you step away from the computer for a few days, get outside more, and get a doctor's diagnosis/prescription for your aching posterior.
