Woke is a modern pejorative, how did that happen, for many it has no meaning outside the negative. It is the N word, the J word, the S word, the H word, etc etc revised. Or is that revisited. No need to think, just call it woke. Bill Maher delivers a diatribe recently that compared it to the very thing it opposes with no obvious irony. DeSantis uses it often and being an autocrat, it fits him well - name call - don't think. It comes out of the far right republican (so called) conservatives need to deny change, stop progress, or exclude the other. Why ponder, why consider, why learn, when you can label. Why acknowledge difference. Fox and other so called conservative networks like Newsmax and OAN use it often for it fits much of their audience and they must play along for the audience. You'd think humans would recognize by now the evil labeling creates but no, labels still work.

No wokeness. There is plenty of reading, homework, and testing. The imaginary wokeness is a right-wing fantasy. College has always mixed people with different backgrounds and experiences. Hopefully, you understand what other people live like and what they go through. It broadens you. But it does not indoctrinate unless you go to Liberty or other religious schools. That is what the plan it at those schools.
Authoritarian societies always seek to kill or otherwise silence the academics, the intelligentsia and all other highly educated people who don't toe their strict authoritarian line.
Be it fascists or communists, all highly authoritarian regimes go after freedom of discussion and academic discussion. Stalin, Mao, Hitler, Pol Pot, etc. They all used violent dumbasses to take down the existing laws so they could impose their own.
What happened on 1/6 wasn't new or original. It was just a first for the United States of America. I'm curious to see if Americans will allow it to happen again.
